We were honored to be the site captain at Seaside Cardiff State Beach for the annual Creek To Bay over the weekend. Our cleanup site was one of nearly a hundred cleanup sites countywide organized through our friends at I Love A Clean San Diego.
Thank you to the 50+ volunteers who came out and pitched in at our beach cleanup site at Seaside. You helped collect nearly 50lbs of trash (mostly consisting of small plastics) and it always feels good to be a part of a collective cleanup movement. We’re looking forward to sharing the weekend totals from the other sites as soon as we hear, but in the meantime we’ll be back at Seaside tomorrow for the Seaside Slide Paddle Race (Saturday, 5/2), from 8:30am-10:30am, if you want to pitch in!
