We want to keep the good vibes going from Earth Month and kick off May by highlighting another amazing partner of ours, @SolanaCenter. Solana Center has been empowering innovative solutions to climate change through education, community, engagement, and research in San Diego County for over 40 years now!   They were instrumental in leading the effort to get the first successful ban on Styrofoam food containers in Encinitas. Just recently their Executive Director, Jessica Toth, was named 2024 Women Who Inspire winner for San Diego County for her impactful contributions to environmental sustainability.   From water stewardship and waste recovery to composting and sustainable living—their programs provide education, consulting, and other resources to enable schools & businesses to go green!   We’re currently partnering with them to distribute reusable water bottles to underserved students that are a part of their science-based school programs—that inspire & empower students to live sustainably. Additionally, this summer we’ll be collaborating with them on waste diversion at Switchfoot BROAM (June 15 at Moonlight Beach).
