RMF Awarded For ‘Excellence in Environmental Stewardship’ by The City of Encinitas Environmental Commission

We’re extremely proud to have received the 2022 non-profit award for Excellence in Environmental Stewardship by the City of Encinitas Environmental Commission.

RMF was started with the simple thought that environment needs to be looked after and there is no better place to start than with the kids in Rob’s hometown community. Over the years our programs have included funding of green gardens, recycling, beach cleanups, and installing water filling stations in North County elementary, middle, high schools and community spaces helping to eradicate single-use plastic bottles.  To date our water station installs have helped to divert over 1M plastic water bottles from landfills.

Recently we’re expanding our environmental reach through the greater San Diego area focusing on reusable water bottle distribution at SDUSD, National City and Escondido school districts which serve overlooked and underserved communities.

We share this award with our community of volunteers, private donors, partners and supporters.  It takes a village!
