BEACH CLEANUP - MARCH 16 AT SOUTH PONTO

Hi friends, please join us Saturday, March 16th at South Ponto for our next beach cleanup. No doubt with all of the recent rain there’s been a tremendous amount of urban runoff reaching the ocean and our beaches need our help! Please find the cleanup details. If you can’t make this month’s cleanup, please SAVE THE DATE for April 20th for our Earth Day Cleanup as a part of the county wide effort, Creek To Bay. Location & timeframe to come.

What: Beach Cleanup 

When: Saturday, March 16th | 9am - 11am

Where: South Ponto Beach (Carlsbad)

*Look for our RMF tent located on the walk path to the beach from the parking lot. Near the steps that lead up to Alila Marea Resort.

Parking: At the southernmost end of South Carlsbad is a pay lot ($10 per vehicle). There’s also a limited amount of free parking on the outer edge of South Ponto Beach.

Bring: We’ll have reusable buckets / bags & trash grabbers available on a first come, first serve basis. But feel free to bring your own gear and we encourage you to bring your own REUSABLE GLOVES. Please wear CLOSED TOED SHOES, dress appropriate for the weather, and wear sunblock. We hope to see you on Saturday, March 16th!
