The Rob Machado Foundation was proud to collaborate with the Bro-Am again this year to help reduce single-use plastics at the event. We partnered with our friends at Hurley and FloWater to create a water oasis onsite that provided (free) chilled and purified water stations for attendees. All you needed was a reusable bottle!
Collectively, by using our water refill stations, beach-goers helped us SAVE over 3,100 single-use plastic bottles from ending up in a landfill or worse, into the ocean. So THANK YOU to all who helped in this effort. It’s the little things like using reusable water bottles that help make a huge positive impact on our environment, especially when we’re all working together. Please continue to help us eliminate the single-use plastic epidemic by bringing your reusable bottles with you when you’re on the go!
Special thanks to Hurley, FloWater, Bro-Am, and to our volunteers for all of your support—we couldn’t do this without you!
